acceleration - the rate at which speed is increased.

albeit - although; even though.

amidst - among; in the middle of.

ammunition - bullets fired by guns.

ascent - rising or climbing.

assumption - takes anything for granted.

banished - to force a person to leave his home, town or country. 

berate - to scold in a harsh way.

belittle - to speak of as having little value or worth.

bicker - to have a small quarrel ofer and unimportant matter. 

brunt - the heaviest or hardest part [to bear the brunt of the blame].

criticize - to find fault with; disapprove of.

detestable - to dislike with strong feeling; hate.

discordant - not agreeing or going well together; conflicting.

disrespectful - lack of politeness; rudeness.

dissipate - to break up and diasppear.

dumbfounded - to make unable to speak, as by shocking.

elder - an older person.

evict - to force a person by law to move from a place.

exile - to force a person to leave his home or country.

fetch up - to arrive or stop.

fuddy duddy - fussy person; a person complaining about things of little value or importance.

grody - repulsive; disgusting; nauseating.

heckle - to annoy by asking many questions, shouting insults, etc.

hideous - horrible to see, hear, etc.; very ugly or disgusting.

invalidate - to make less of.

liability - a condition that acts against one.

livestock - animals kept or raised on farms, such as cattle, horses, and pigs.

maniacal - too much enthusiasm or loudness for something.

marvel - to wonder; be amazed.

merciless
- having or showing no mercy; cruel.

misguided - lad into making mistakes or doing wrong.

mission - the special duty or errand that a person or group is sent out to do.

mode - a way of acting or doing something.

momentum - the force with which something moves.

morals - having to do with right and wrong in conduct.

mutual - shared together.

nooks and crannies - something that is far off or far away as in space or time; distant.

obstacle - anything that gets in the way or keeps one from going ahead.

offensive - unpleasant; disgusting.

outskirts - the areas or parts far from the center.

perch - any resting place, especially a high one or one that does not look safe.

phenomenal - very unusual; extraordinary.

plight - a condition or situation, especially a sad or dangerous one.

predicament - a bad situation which is hard to work one's way out of.

prone - likely or inclined [The typist was prone to errors].

propel - to push or drive forward.

repulsive - causing strong dislike or disgust; disgusting.

resent -   to feel a bitter hurt and anger about.

rhythmic - of or having rhythm.

rickety - weak and shaky; not firm.

ridicule
- the act of making a perosn or thing seem foolish as by mocking, making fun, laughing, etc.

ruckus - a noisy rushing about; confusion.

scorch - to dry up by heat.

scowl - to look angry, mean, etc., as by lowering the eyebrows and the corners of the mouth

scorn - a feeling that one has toward something low, mean, or evil [We have nothing but scorn for a cheater].

shuffle - to move the feet with a dragging motion, as in walking or dancing.

shun - to keep away from; avoid.

silo - an airtight tower for storing grains, corn stalks and grasses for cattle & animals. 

situation - condition or state, as caused by things that have happened.

slick - slippery.

slob - a person who is not neat or careful, or one who has bad manners.

snicker - to give a sly or silly laugh that is partly held back and that shows scorn or ridicule.

sorrow - a sad or troubled feeling; sadness; grief.

spew - to gush forth.

stench - a very bad smell; stink.

stickler - any puzzling or difficult problem.

tease - to bother or annoy by joking or mocking talk, playful fooling, etc.

temperament -  a moody nature that makes one easily excited or upset.

tendril - any of the small, curly stems that hold up a climbing plant by coiling around somthing.

terrible - very bad or unpleasant; very great; dreadful.

tirade - a long, angry or scolding speech.

trespassing - to go on another's property without permission or right.

unison - doing the same thing at the same time.

unlikely - not likely to be right or successful.

utensils - a container, tool, etc. used for a special purpose [Pots, pans, egg beaters, can openers, etc are kitchen utensils].

utmost - the most that is possible.

winsome - sweetly innocent or charming; winning; engaging.
